I found a place that now makes me yearn for an intense workout and a community with the same obsession - The F.I.T.T. PIT. And with the good I found the bad. I found my non-supporters and criticizers. And boy am I happy I found these people. They taught me how to overcome obstacles that weren't just brownies or jumping jacks but more. I'm happy to say that because of all these things I succeeded and will continue to succeed. I aim to keep improving my body and my mind and to motivate others throughout this journey.

I joined the Fitt Pit in May at which point I was the heaviest I've ever been at 176 lbs! Today I am 135 lbs!!
Andre Thomas is more than just my coach, he is my big brother! He believed in me and with his positive vibe and attitude he made me believe in myself.
He guided me through a 12 week transformation contest which taught me the value of working out but more importantly the value of "clean eating" to ensure a healthier and happier life style. I've been over weight my whole life and at 26 I was finally ready to make a change. I wish I could say I took a magic pill or I just woke up one day 28lbs lighter but I can't. The rigorous workouts and dedicated staff at the PIT made me want to come to class every day and put in WORK! What you say Dre "Scared money don't make money"...well I'm not scared anymore!
"AFTER LOSING MORE THAN 100 POUNDS TRAINING WITH ANDRE, MY LIFE GETS BETTER AND BETTER"
I never felt like the guy in the mirror was the guy i felt like inside. I'm 5-9 and as an adult my weight hovered around 275-290( i got down to 250 in my mid-twenties for a short while through dieting, but like most diets, it did not last) In November '07, I finally topped 300 lbs!!!
There was obviously a mental panic at being that heavy, but the physical effects were also obvious. I became so winded from climbing stairs that i dreaded them. I would plan my day around avoiding them. My joints began to hurt. My already big clothes weren't big enough.
I joined the gym in order to get healthy. As i entered the gym and saw all the equipment and people working out it dawned on me that i had no idea what i was doing! I know allot of things, but how to "fix" my body i know nothing about. I'm a performer man.
If i had a car and it broke down, I would go to a mechanic. I needed knowledge and motivation. I saw a picture of Dre at the gym and he looked like a trainer that could motivate me. (little did i know just how much).
After losing more than 100 pounds training with Andre, my life gets better and better. I am stronger, faster and more confident than I have ever been. When, I perform on stage, I have the energy of a teenager. Clearly one of the best decisions I have ever made!

As cliché as this sounds participating in the transformation challenge changed my mind, body and soul! Working out at The Pit challenged me to go beyond my expectations of my abilities and proved that I am stronger than my mind can ever conceive. Not only did I gain a new appreciation and love for myself but at the Pitt I also gained a new family!!!

Let me begin by thanking my F.I.T.T. Pit Trainers – Dre, Orlando & Percess & also My Fellow Transformers and my other F.I.T.T. Pit Family. Thank you so very much for your amazing support & encouragement. There are no words that could tell you how much I appreciate all of you.
When the Transformation Contest 2 was announced, I certainly did not think to join. However, a past contestant and close friend encouraged me to participate. Honestly, I entered this contest thinking I would not be successful. However, I was completely wrong.
Before entering the Transformation Contest 2, I was convinced "my body was against me". No matter what diet or exercise routine I tried, I was just not getting the results I desired. I blamed my body and I was angry and frustrated. The Transformation Contest 2 taught me to love myself and put myself first. It’s not always easy; however, I became to realize I am worthy. I enjoyed doing it and it has actually changed me from the inside out – I am transformed! I love me & my newfound size 2 body. Just in time for my 45th birthday!
The FITT PIT played a big role in my transformation. The FITT Pit is not only a place to go participate in a boot camp; but also a place with encouraging and supportive staff and F.I.T.T. Pit Members alike that have created a family-like atmosphere. You work hard but you have fun doing it. I have found my place and I want to be there every week.
In a matter of 12 weeks, not only did I manage to lose all of the weight I needed to lose; I also developed a better image of myself and my body became leaner, stronger and healthier. Now when I see myself, I see a beautiful, strong, powerful, happy woman.

I have been going to the gym for most of my life. I have always thought of myself as being healthy and in good shape. This summer I felt like I was in an “exercise rut” so I decided to try working with a Personal Trainer. I have been truly amazed with the experience and the overall results.
My Fitness Coach has been a great teacher, motivator, and is very professional.. The differences I have seen in building muscle, losing fat, and an overall feeling of well being have been outstanding. I learned to workout smarter and now spend my time at the gym more efficiently. I am pushed to workout harder than I ever have when I am on my own and am surprised time after time what I am capable of.

Everyone thought I looked fine with my previous weight except me. I knew there was something I needed to do about my weight to be happy. I had joined previous gyms and nothing motivated me. That's when I joined the The F.I.T.T. PIT. Being there turned me into a healthier happier person. I was able to lose 18.4 pounds something I was never able to manage if it wasn't for the F.I.T.T. PIT.

My Coach personalized a fitness and diet plan tailored to the needs I wanted and the needs he figured I needed to become healthy. He measured my body fat and inches. He gave me instructions, food logs, recipes, grocery list, yes I said grocery list, and homework to do on days I was not training with him.
Working with Dre has taken me further than I ever imagined. I actually look forward to the pain, the challenge, and the sweet euphoric high of accomplishment when I complete each challenge. I am walking on solid ground, each step more confident, more powerful than the last. My stride is higher than the Empire State building, my strength of resolve is stronger than steel and my mind is more humbled than people that have survived a prolonged draught and is blessed with a five minute rain shower. My goals are nearer and I am focused and grateful. I am thankful to the support of my sister. I am thankful for my coach that every day helps me realize there is nothing I can not accomplish with the correct mind set. Maybe this time next year I will be in the Boston Marathon, look for my number. Now in the words of my trainer, “ Now drop down and give me fifty.”
"I GAINED SELF-CONFIDENCE"
I’ve been a part of the P.I.T.T now for 3 ½ years. I started off with personal training then bootcamp. I noticed that I just wasn’t loosing the weight I wanted to lose. As we get older our metabolism slows down and at 51 I knew I needed to do something about it. Bootcamp was one part however the part that was missing was how I was eating. I realized I was undoing what I worked so hard on in bootcamp to accomplish.
Then along came the transformation contest and that’s what sparked a change for me. Before the transformation contest my eating habit was awful, but the challenge helped me to become more notoriously food conscience. It was an eye opening experience, for me, because I just wanted to do this for me and my health. I didn’t do the challenge for prizes but I was determined to make the top ten – and I did! By the end of the 12 weeks I lost a total of 19.4 pounds.
I gained more than just weight loss I gained self-confidence, endurance and, most importantly, a better understanding of healthy, clean eating. The F.I.T.T. PIT truly transformed my life, mind, body and spirit. Thanks to Dre and my PIT family.
PATRICIA LOST OVER 40LBS IN 12 WEEKS!
After 12 weeks I loss 40.6 pounds and my life has completely changed. I have more energy and I am more motivated in all aspects of my life. There were many highs and the lowest of lows, but with the support of the my lovely fellow FITT pitters and the amazing trainers, Dre, Orlando, and Percess, I was able to accomplish so much. I loss 40 pounds and gained a new outlook on my life.

I tried several diets and gyms which took some of the weight off within 3 years but maintaining it was difficult. When I found out about the PIT weighing-in at 212 I was a little skeptical but I told myself give it 6 months and see how much progress you make. Five months in and I was already down 27lbs and feeling great! Who would of thought I could loose so much weight in a short period of time. Loving the new healthier me!

When I first met my F.I.T.T. PIT Coach last year, I was out of shape and my energy level was at an all time low. Basically, I thought I would learn the basics about a good workout routine, as well as gather some facts about my nutr itional habits. Well, I got that and more.
After an intense 6 months, my trainer helped me gain reduced my body fat from 37.7% to 11.7%, while improving my strength level and decreasing my blood pressure and resting heart rate.

I had my daughter more than two years ago and let my hectic lifestyle become my excuse for not working out. Work and parenting had gotten me so stressed, my escape would be food. Getting up and not eating breakfast, eating huge lunches and dinners. Snacking on Reese’s Cups and oatmeal cookies, became my normal regimen.
Getting more and more unhappy every time, I looked in the mirror and being amazed that my post baby weight had ballooned to over 200 pounds. Enough is enough!
I called the folks at Fitness Revolution and started my journey to my new me! And while is wasn’t easy and the workouts kicked my butt, I wouldn’t change the process one bit. Cause now, I not only now how to get the weight off but I can keep it off. I now weigh the same amount I weighed as a high school freshman and now I choose a pear over the Reese Cup….Thanks Dre! "FIRST WEEK I WAS ONLY ABLE TO DO 3 BURPEES, THEN I COULD DO 5, THEN 10"
During the transformation I learned how to eat in a way that fueled my body. I also learned better lifestyle practices such as stress reduction through meditation, getting adequate sleep and the importance of rest. Group support was offered online, the trainers at The Fitt Pit are very helpful and accessible, and the group bootcamps made working out fun. You weren’t going to the gym to spend an hour alone on the treadmill. Instead I was doing things that I never thought I could do. First week I was only able to do 3 burpees, then I could do 5, then 10…. There’s a way to challenge yourself and never get bored with your routine. I could have never reached my goals with the support, resources and expertise that was offered at The Pit. The information, strength and skills I gained will benefit me for the rest of my life.
